Completed 2011 calendar challenge

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas?
I just wanted to post my 12 calendar pages from the calendar challenge over at Kates blog.
I have kept up all year, sometimes lagging behind, but I did it!
This has been an amazing challenge and I really enjoyed looking back over all my pages and reading about my year.

I have completed all pages but I noticed when uploading the photos that I have not taken photos of some of the filled in pages! I don't know why, I thought I had, but as I already uploaded them I cant be bothered to go back and take photos, edit them and repost!

Still a couple of days left to complete on this one

I also added a couple of extra pages- a 2011 roundup where I picked a couple of things from each month to highlight
A recap page where I have journalled about things such as dreams fulilled in 2011 and challenges faced and my goals for 2012.
I do intend to carry on with this challenge in 2012, the sketchbook I used still has loads of pages left so I will continue in the same book.
I would like to say a big thankyou to Kate for hosting this and linking everyone up each month. I have found some fab blogs through this and have enjoyed seeing everyones pages every month.
Now, I had better find some time to get started on my Jan 2012 page!

I've enjoyed looking at your calendar pages throughout the year Sam and they look wonderful together - all so colourful and detailed and different! I've often wished I'd taken part in Kate's project, but although I'd enjoy making the pages probably wouldn't like to make the daily entries! Love your two recap and goal pages too.

Wishing you and your family and a Happy New year - and I look forward to seeing all your calendar pages for the coming year too!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. I had already been inspired to join in in 2012 but hadn't actually done anything about it - seeing your pages have spurred me on to get on with it!

I found your last 2 spreads, in particular, really moving with the highs and lows in your life over the past year and your goals for the coming year.

We never know what's round the corner in life, do we, and I wish you and your loved ones health and happiness.

Wow! Stunning! This post is a riot of colour! Your pages are a delight to see and fabulous to see them all together in one post. Well done for keeping up all year - it's such an achievement isn't it? And lovely to look back on. I really like your idea of adding a couple of extra pages :-) Thanks for being a part of this challenge and I really look forward to seeing your pages over 2012.

I really love seeing them altogether Sam. I crashed and burned with mine. When I say I had months of no creating I literally had months of nothing :( Not this year. Even if I have to twiddle some blu tack to make something, I WILL do something every day. It was horrible.

Love your last couple of pages in particular - the pagan and poetry book sound amazing! I wish you all the luck and creativity in the world lovely lady - I hope you do join us with Rocking Fridays :)
